Marching Band Scholarship

Each year a rising 9th grader from Brandon Middle School and Kempsville Middle School is awarded a $250 Tallwood High School Marching Scholarship. The students must be enrolled in Tallwood High School for the following year, commit to the Marching Lions for the entire marching band season, be in good standing with their current band program, have shown an excellent class attitude and musical progress, and maintain an overall 3.0 GPA and an “A” in Band.
