1. Students are to be in the band room at the designated time. We will load buses after a brief inspection.
2. In the stands, all band members will stand until the Director seats them. You must sit in your own section ranks and may not leave your rank. Other students are not allowed to sit in the reserved band section. Band alumni and middle school band students are welcome in an area reserved for them along the outside perimeter of the band.
3. While at football games behavior should be exemplary. This means using good judgment in representing our school and community.
4. No playing is permitted except in an organized fashion as led by the Director or Drum Major(s). No one outside the band is allowed to play your instrument.
5. No profanity or obscene gestures.
6. The uniform should be properly worn in its entirety or as otherwise stated by the Director. No jewelry or other distracting articles of clothing will be allowed to be worn with the uniform unless approved by the Director. All students with long hair are to put their hair up inside their hats. Hats and gloves will be removed only when the Director instructs the band to do so.
7. Directions given by the Drum Major or Director are to be strictly followed.
8. You are not allowed to chew gum in uniform.
9. If we stand, the whole band stands. If we sit, the whole band sits. Whether the band sits or stands is determined by the Band Director.
10. Group cheers are allowed with body movement, but must be in an organized fashion so that no instruments get damaged. All cheers must be approved by the Director.
11. The Director will determine when the band plays. Pay attention and be ready to perform when the sign is held. There are times we will not play:
    1. When someone is injured.
    2. When the ball is in play in front of us where the band may interfere.
12. Every consideration will be given to see that all students receive restroom privileges. You must ask permission before going to the restroom. You must be accompanied by a chaperone and/or by another band member at home games.
13. You will be dismissed by row or section by the Director. After the game the band will remain seated and dismissed after we have played for the crowd. You are to wear your complete uniform while in public.
14. You are responsible for seeing that your own equipment and instruments are returned properly in their places or taken home as instructed by the Director.
15. Your uniform must be neat and shoes polished for every performance. If you dirty your uniform due to negligence, you will be required to pay for the extra cleaning.
16. Color guard must sit with the band.
17. After the performance, the chaperones may have a snack and drink for you. Please dispose of all trash properly and do not come into the stands with food and drink unless you have approval by the Director.
18. You will be given a certain amount of time to get something from the concession stands. Once you have purchased your food, you should return to the stands to sit and eat as a band. Food will be consumed in the stands as a band. We will collect all garbage. There will be no eating in the fourth quarter of any football game.
